As a designer, sometimes it feels weird when you had an idea, put it aside for a bit, and later you find out that someone else did it and you had to bin the idea. Other times, it is wonderful to make something and discover one out there that is a little similar, in a fun way – that might just match! :D

Hybrid
Today, I came across the works of Merve Kahraman, and I fell totally in love with her gorgeous Hybrid chairs, which are “inspired by the mythologies of parahumans”. I am dreaming of a photoshoot where the model sits on those chairs while wearing my deer and bunny rings. One can dream, right? ;)
These are definitely the kind of chairs I would put in my dream home, hahah.

I had a pleasant surprise today when my dear friend from Yume Zakka told me that she spotted my Double Vertebrae Ring on Craftgawker!
Yeay! I’m just so excited to see pieces from my collection pop up on cyberspace.

Love Ring for Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is not very far away now. I’ve just had some of my Love Ring design lasercut and I received them two days ago. After giving them a good sanding and some painting, they are now for sale on my Etsy shop – just in time for Mother’s Day!

Love Ring
Yeay! As promised, I took better pictures of the ring today and the ring is now on my Etsy. I will be working hard this weekend to produce more.
I have just spent a large part of today painting the feature wall in my living room grey – totally loving it! (Ouch! Sore arms!)
