I recently bought an IKEA lantern to brighten up my temporary room and hence it becoming the new object to practise my (lack of) photography skills on. Over the weekend, I also bought a vintage-y crate and a tripod light from a warehouse sale…but that’s for another post; the light still needs a nice lamp shade. :)

Walking 10 minutes to buy brunch – all worth it when I chomped down on these delicious treats from Bourke Street Bakery. I’m gonna miss being just a stone’s throw away from this delicious convenience (and also a lot more other conveniences as well).
During my trip to Hong Kong, I managed to visit a shop called Loveramics, a beautiful shop selling various ceramic tableware and other designwares.
The products were beautifully arranged, and the lady was very friendly – it would be rude to leave the shop empty-handed! :)
I bought two pairs of Mixx teaspoon sets, designed by Milk Design for Loveramics as they were so cute and would certainly survive the journey back to Sydney in my luggage. They came in a few colours, and I bought my two most favourite colours of the lot – pastel blue and pink.
