Not long ago, I was commissioned by a friend to make a leather Macbook Pro case. It was my first time making such a big leather item, thus I was very excited…and also a little bit nervous – what if the case doesn’t fit, as I do not have the same laptop model to try it on. But voila! It fitted perfectly! hehehhe
Looking forward to more commissions / custom-made requests. :D

Decided to make a similar case for the iPad as well.
Being an admirer of androgynous fashion and sometimes menswear, it is hard not to love bowties, especially those made of beautiful fabrics. Bowties have been making a comeback in recent years and it looks like they might even be here to stay. Here are some of my favourites. :)
Very cute two-print bowties from Hello in There.
Love this pastel-blue striped one from the famous Forage.
I love anything with stripes. :P
This one from Bowtie Company. Gotta love that stamp!
Polka dot love from Marcello Neckwear.
A girly polka-dot bowtie I bought from a trip a few years ago.
It’s the first day of November and it’s Movember time. What does that have to do with bowties, you ask? Well…
These are moustache brooches which double as bowties (or rather, bow-brooch), that I made and are currently stocked at Follow Store. Do check them out ~ :D
I recently bought a book about hand made type, and since then I’ve been very fascinated by the art of creating type by hand. Coincidentally, I’ve stumbled upon some amazing designers who create beautiful letters using their own amazing ways. I’d like to share my two most favourite out of the bunch.
First up is Dana Tanamachi – I’m sure lots of you would have seen her works, but every time I look at them, I am still amazed like the first time. Here is a time-lapse video of her doing her stuff:
I love how the transience of it (because it can be rubbed of easily) adds to its beauty – isn’t everything more attractive when it only lasts for a while?
Next is Sasha Prood – below is just two of her many amazing letterings and illustrations. Every time I look at her works, I go “I wish I could draw like that!”

Now, I’ll go do some lettering! :P
