Seventh Tree Soaps

I met Amy Ta of Seventh Tree Soaps at the East Is East Markets early this year where we had our stalls. Amy is such a friendly & bubbly lady; her aura is as attractive as the beautiful soaps she creates. After following each other on Instagram and Facebook, we happened to collaborate on something very fun for her soaps. I’ve gotten into a print obsession these couple of months, and what’s better than creating some prints for Amy’s soaps! I’m a little behind in this news, but some of the prints are now on some of Seventh Tree Soaps’ cute owl packaging! My prints are also available as gift wrapping at her lovely Etsy shop. Do visit and treat your body to some natural goodness!

Yumiko Higuchi

In my previous Pin Favs post, one of the images was of a beautiful embroidery – which led me to a whole body of amazing embroidery works by Yumiko Higuchi, an embroidery artist from Japan. I’ve always been a huge fan of Japanese craftsmanship, and especially their attention to detail and high quality of work. Yumiko Higuchi’s works is the epitome of that. May Bits

My goodness! How did May fly by so fast?! And now we’re into the second half of the year already! May was a really fun month for me – there was my Melbourne trip, my birthday (although it wasn’t very fun, haha), working hard in preparation for the Finders Keepers markets, and the first night of the market itself. I think it all triggered something inside me to work even more and to be even more productive – let’s hope I can continue on with this productive-ness and not fall into procrastination mode again! :D

The Sydney Finders Keepers Market

IS HAPPENING TOMORROW NIGHT!

Sorry about the caps, I’m too excited! :D

It’s happening in less than 24 hours – I guess the reason why I’m so excited even though this is not the first time I’m participating is because it’s at a new venue – which is massive, and hence a lot more designers who are amazingly talented. I feel so awed by all the talents that will be surrounding me at the market tomorrow night and Saturday. If only I did not have to man my stall every single second, I would love to visit every stall and say Hi and make friends with the other designers – I always felt like doing that, but I’m a bit shy. ;) But this time, I’ll try my best to make more friends! <3

Here are some sneak peeks of what to expect at my stall at the Sydney’s FindersKeepers Market tomorrow (6-10pm) and Saturday (10-5pm). It’s a pity it’s only for 1.5 days – time always seems to fly by so fast!

Busy Preparations

After my short trip to Melbourne, I’ve been busy preparing for the Finders Keepers markets, which is next weekend! Oh how fast time flies! Too much to do in so little time! And I came down with a cold this morning… *sniff*

It’s so exciting to be selling amongst so many other amazing designers at the Finders Keepers markets – I wish I could come up with a lot more exciting products for my stall, but sometimes it’s difficult with all the financial obstacles and limited pair of hands, hahah. Oh well. Here’re some sneak peeks of my preparations for the markets this time. Fingers crossed everything will turn out well! :)

If you’re in Sydney next Friday and Saturday, do drop by the market (which is at a new venue this time – the Australian Technology Park) and come by my stall – see you there! :D
